Job Description

The IT Technical Support Specialist at Playtech Lima will provide technical support for video streaming equipment, data, optical, and network communication systems. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining video streaming equipment, troubleshooting computer hardware and software, monitoring information systems, resolving user issues, and monitoring CDN server connections. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work rotating shifts. The ideal candidate will have certified experience in N1 and N2 technical support and strong English communication skills.

  • To provide technical support for the video streaming equipment, data, optical and network communication systems.
  • To perform installation and maintenance of video streaming equipment (video cameras, audio/video cards, cabling, etc.) in accordance with the specified procedures.
  • To install, administer and trouble shoot computers (laptops), hardware etc., as requested by the management.
  • To monitor information systems, diagnose problems and solve them immediately, while informing the direct manager about the work carried out and the execution times.
  • To respond to user calls and troubleshoots, and to diagnose and resolve software problems.
  • To monitor CDN server connections, diagnose and solve problems, or organize the aversion of problems.
  • To provide day-to-day technical support – consultations and provision of services for users.
  • To monitor the reported problems’ solving process execution in accordance with the problem-solving procedures. To make and save reports and any related documentation.

Requisitos

  • English language skills (oral, written, spoken).
  • Certified experience in N1 and N2 technical support.
  • Availability to work in rotating schedules (morning / afternoon / night shift).
