PwC Luxembourg is hiring an IT Infrastructure Project Manager M/F/D. What if it was you?

Your mission: As part of the IT Infrastructure, you provide IT project and portfolio management. You will be responsible for coordinating and completing IT projects, respecting deadlines, budgets, and scope, ensuring quality of work, risk management and controlling resources, while following a predefined communication plan. You will interact with several IT Teams, in IT Infrastructure and Development but also with internal teams such as Quality Assurance, Information Security, Architects, Building and Purchase teams. 

The project manager will lead the stakeholder communications program. The project manager will seek out and coordinate with other IT Team leaders and project managers, technologists, and support staff to ensure projects are planned for successful transition to production support, and to improve the maturity of the IT Project Management.  

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Manage projects from project initiation to successful completion, leading the orderly progression of projects from the proposal stage through project completion by interacting with stakeholders;
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and technologists to define agreed upon project scope, outcomes, requirements, schedule and resources; develop actionable project plans and project artifacts; identify, manage and escalate, as appropriate, project risks, issues, and roadblocks to timely delivery;
  • Manage resources, scope, prioritization, work plans and the investigation of future enhancements;
  • Develop and implement project communications framework to ensure well informed stakeholders, end-users, and technical staff;
  • Organizing and leading meetings, focus groups, and presentations;
  • Liaising with stakeholders and vendors to lead discovery of both technical and non-technical solutions to meet requirements;
  • Overseeing development, testing, and user acceptance; 
  • Develop and manage project roadmap;
  • Execute, coordinate, and perform technical aspects of project, research issues;
  • Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines;
  • Ensure the preparation and delivery of required project documentation;
  • Prepare and provide project status updates;
  • Absorb and leverage project related technology to ensure effective project management and collaboration;
  • May provide training to clients/staff;
  • Apply PWC IT technical standards and best practices;
  • Manage and facilitate small to large / complex projects and support the evolution of current tools and processes;
  • Follow up the project milestones and ensure the delivery on time and within budget. 

Let's talk about you. If you are/have...

  • A Master's degree or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of experience on a similar position;
  • Excellent Project Management skills and knowledge of project & project management good practices;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will be in contact with a lot of stakeholders at PwC;
  • Experience with technical project management discipline and practices;
  • Experience with leading complex, mission-critical, technical projects;
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills;
  • Strong business/systems analysis skills, proven meeting facilitation, and documentation skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to share information effectively and confidently to internal and external audiences of varying levels of technical knowledge;
  • Able to manage multiple assigned tasks and projects independently; 
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure principles and technology, and/or experience with projects or operations associated with storage and high-performance computing solutions, server management (cloud and on-prem), Data Center management (inventory assessments, data backup, restoration, and redundancy);
  • PMI certification will be considered an asset;
  • Agile, Lean and/or Facilitation certification will be considered an asset;
  • ITIL Foundations certification will be considered an asset;
  • You are fluent in English and French.
