Team Introduction
The IT Asset Management team is responsible for establishing and optimizing a set of strategies, policies, and processes that effectively manage the entire life cycle of IT assets used within an enterprise or organization. It involves all stages, from requirement analysis, budget, procurement, deployment, usage, and maintenance to final decommissioning.
Our goal is to ensure that IT assets can be reasonably utilized, maximize their value, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and help enterprises control costs, reduce risks and improve operational efficiency, and achieve elegant user experience and empower productivity
As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective IT asset management strategies for the organization. You will work with various departments to evaluate existing asset management processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop and implement innovative solutions to improve asset utilization, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Asset Management Strategy & Roadmap Development, Technology Research and Trend Tracking, Asset Inventory Policy, Process Maturity Assessment and Optimization:
a. Partner with the organization's senior management to understand business goals & needs.
b. Stay updated on the latest asset management technologies and trends, offering insights and recommendations to help the organization maintain a competitive edge.
c. Design IT Asset Management strategies for hardware, software, procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
d. Review and evaluate existing IT asset management processes maturity to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
e. Develop and optimize inventory strategy of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and contracts.
f. Ensure inventory management and core KPIs can support business analysis and decision-making in multiple business scenarios.
2. Asset Operation Efficiency and Improvement, Asset Utilization Analysis, Cost Management, Procurement, and Vendor Management:
a. Analyze asset utilization data, identify underutilized or idle assets, and develop optimization plans.
b. Develop IT asset budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide cost-benefit analysis to help the organization make informed decisions.
c. Participate in purchasing decisions for IT assets, and negotiate contracts and maintenance agreements with vendors to ensure best value.
3. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the organization complies with regulations and policies related to IT asset management, identify and manage risks associated with assets.
4. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular asset management reports, and provide insights on asset status, utilization, and cost to support decision-making.
5. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
a. Provide IT asset management training to relevant personnel within the organization, and share best practices and new asset management methods.
b. Working closely with internal development teams, and quality assurance (QA) to ensure business requirements are developed and released as high-quality products on a timely basis
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferred in computer science, information technology or related fields.
2. At least 5 years+ of IT experience, familiar with ITIL, includes more than 3 years of IT asset management: hardware, software, digital assets or related field work experience. ITAM industry certifications are preferred, such as CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP.
3. Familiar with IT asset management tools and systems, and have used/understood the industry's top IT asset management tools such as Service Now, Flexera, Snow, Trelica, etc. Familiar with UEM tools such as Microsoft Intune, Ivanti LAN Desk, Manage Engine, etc.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with data analysis capabilities.
5. Willingness to continuously learn and improve oneself to keep up with the development of technology and industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strategic thinking and proven record of leading comprehensive IT projects, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with people at all levels and functions.
2. Strong project management and organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Project management certifications such as PMP are preferred
3. Strong industrial know-how and hands-on practice in large and global organizations
4. In-depth understanding of regulations and compliance requirements. Have an in-depth understanding of industry top software vendor license terms and conditions.

Job Information
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $130844 - $255600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
