Larian Studios seeks a Graphics Programmer Intern to contribute to their proprietary engine's VFX development. Must-haves include C++ experience, understanding of state machines, pathfinding, and AI routines, and strong communication skills.

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Graphics Programmer  - Intern to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

    • Help to maintain and extend our proprietary engine on its VFX related part (particle simulation, materials, post-process effects, rendering/lighting pipeline).
    • Work closely together with the Art/VFX department, to implement visual effects of topnotch quality and extend our library of existing VFX components.
    • Document code features.

Requirements

    • Experience or Interest in C++.
    • Open minded, willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature.
    • Concepts as state machines, pathfinding, AI routines should be second nature.
    • Ability to think like a designer to create compelling and fun game play.
    • Good communication skills in English.
    • You are a team player and willing to take responsibility.
    • Problem-solving skills.
