Job Description

This Industry Manager role at Google focuses on partnering with large clients in Vietnam to develop and implement effective digital strategies. Responsibilities include co-creating digital strategies, increasing product adoption, optimizing customer advertising, and driving business growth. This involves structuring joint business plans, analyzing data trends, generating industry insights, delivering presentations, building C-level relationships, and serving as a key client contact. Fluency in English and Vietnamese is essential for this customer-facing role. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in digital marketing/advertising sales and a strong understanding of the Vietnamese technology and advertising landscape, particularly within retail, telecom, gaming, and app industries.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing or digital media/advertising sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, C-level client relationship management and servicing.
  • Knowledge of Vietnam technology and advertising landscape, with strong understanding of Retails, Telco, Gaming, and Apps industries in the market.
  • Understanding of digital advertising solutions and media products; knowledge and experience of using Google and YouTube advertising solutions.
  • Ability to mentor team members and work towards goals in a fast-paced environment.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and consult with customers in Vietnam, with the goal of co-developing effective digital strategies, increasing product knowledge and adoption, optimizing customer advertising and growing the business.
  • Structure joint business plans for key customer accounts and help transform growth curves through understanding of their business objectives, key performance indicators, and challenges.
  • Analyze data trends and customer performance to generate industry insights, collaborate cross-functionally to identify next big bets, and prepare and conduct transformational pitches and presentations.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain C-level relationships, serve as a point of contact to customers, and advise on digital trends.
