We’re currently seeking a Project Manager (Contract) to join a dynamic team at an American pharmaceutical company. This opportunity is based onsite in Mettawa, Illinois, with the potential for remote work following an initial training period. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting chance for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to apply their project management expertise in a compliance-driven environment. As a Project Manager, you will support project execution, ensure compliance systems are adhered to, and help manage key project details. If you have experience in project management, problem-solving, and working within compliance systems, this role offers the perfect environment to grow and contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run monthly reports to identify active projects and review associated documentation.
  • Follow up with researchers and suppliers to collect missing information or correct discrepancies.
  • Record results in a spreadsheet and collaborate with your Manager to identify risk reduction plans.
  • Conduct supplier evaluation renewals as needed and request approval from Procurement for supplier additions.
  • Submit necessary requests related to supplier changes, such as name or address updates, or changes in banking information.
  • Escalate issues to the Manager when appropriate.
  • Provide support for Purchase Order (PO) and Purchase Order Change Notices (POCN), ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of problem-solving and supporting project execution.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate compliance systems and procedures.
  • Strong investigatory skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization or similar environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of project management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or market research industries.
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or SNAPP is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Travel: No travel required.
