Associate Photographer

We are excited to partner with a growing client to hire an Associate Photographer based in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time position requires travel to various properties within the area, with some in-office requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled photographer who is passionate about capturing stunning images and enjoys working independently. As an Associate Photographer, you will play a key role in supporting marketing efforts and creating exceptional 3D virtual tours and photographs that showcase homes, apartments, and commercial real estate. This role involves working closely with a variety of teams and clients, ensuring high-quality work and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support marketing initiatives by capturing high-quality 3D virtual tours and photographs for residential and commercial properties.
• Create a diverse portfolio of images that best highlight homes, apartments, and commercial real estate, using professional photography techniques.
• Collaborate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointment scheduling and meet client demands.
• Communicate professionally with clients, sales teams, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and deliverables.
• Navigate residential and commercial properties, identifying new inventory and ensuring full data coverage for real estate listings.
• Maintain the safety of company vehicles and equipment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Represent the client in a professional and courteous manner during all client interactions.
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years of professional photography experience, with field experience preferred. A degree in photography is also a plus.
• Skills: Experience with Matterport is a plus, though we are willing to train qualified candidates. Ability to quickly learn new concepts such as commercial real estate terminology, mapping, and GIS is essential.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and apps.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent sitting in a vehicle, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements for operating camera equipment and typing on a tablet or laptop.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, and carrying required for job functions.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and work weekends on a rotating schedule.
