We’re currently seeking an Associate Photographer for an exciting opportunity in Knoxville, TN. This full-time role offers a dynamic mix of on-the-job photography and travel to various properties, with some in-office requirements.

As an Associate Photographer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting marketing efforts by capturing high-quality images and 3-D virtual tours that highlight residential and commercial properties. Working closely with a dedicated team, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact while developing your photography skills in a fast-paced, independent environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photography: Capture stunning images and 3-D virtual tours to showcase homes, apartments, and commercial properties. Utilize advanced photography techniques to create a portfolio that highlights each space in the best possible light.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the scheduling and dispatch teams to ensure appointments are efficiently maximized and client demands are met.
  • Market Ownership: Take charge of local market coverage by navigating commercial properties and one-mile grids to ensure complete data coverage, identifying new inventory, and filling in missing availability.
  • Client Communication: Engage professionally with clients, sales teams, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and strategically plan tasks and initiatives.
  • Safety and Representation: Adhere to safety standards to protect company equipment and vehicle, and always represent the client in a professional manner.
  • Ongoing Team Collaboration: Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Photography Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional photography experience, with field experience preferred. Recent graduates with a degree in photography will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Matterport is highly valued, though we will provide training for qualified candidates. A strong understanding of Windows, Apple OS, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Data Accuracy: Ability to accurately capture and enter data, while learning new concepts like commercial real estate terminology and mapping.
  • Independent Work Style: Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong time management skills and a keen eye for detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods while driving, and stand or walk for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Frequent hand and arm movements to operate camera equipment and type on tablets or laptops.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, and carrying are necessary to complete tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and drive in various seasons.
  • Willingness to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
