The Employer Branding Lead, APAC will execute WBD's employer branding strategy in the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities include highlighting key differentiators, effectively communicating WBD's values and mission internally and externally, collaborating with stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, HR, Communications, etc.), managing creative assets for the career site and social media, identifying opportunities to elevate the brand through research and partnerships, and maintaining the social media editorial calendar. The role requires strong storytelling, creative conceptualization, editorial skills, project management abilities, an inclusive perspective, relationship-building skills, and digital savviness.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years experience in employer branding or recruitment marketing
  • Passion for storytelling and creative campaign development
  • Exceptional editorial and writing skills
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Experience with social media and digital platforms
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with graphic design

The Job

As a Regional Branding Specialist in the Asia Pacific region, you will play a pivotal role in executing the company's employer branding strategy, emphasizing unique differentiators to enhance internal engagement and attract top external talent. This role entails collaborating with various stakeholders to manage creative assets, elevate brand presence through strategic research and partnerships, and maintain a dynamic social media presence, addressing ongoing process improvements.

The Daily  

  • Help execute WBD’s employer branding strategy in the APAC region, highlighting key differentiators that set the company, its culture, and practices apart from competitors. 

  • Effectively understand and clearly relay WBD’s values and mission both internally and externally to increase internal engagement and attract external talent. 

  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Strategy & Employee Experience, HR, Communications, etc.) to accomplish company and team priorities. 

  • Partner closely with various brand marketing teams to produce, coordinate and manage creative assets for the WBD career site, various social media channels and other platforms. 

  • Identify new opportunities to elevate the brand in region through research studies, lead competitor reviews, understand industry best practices and nurture partnerships. 

  • Help maintain social media editorial calendar by tracking upcoming and notable APAC-specific programming releases and events. 

  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and escalate issues, as necessary. 

The Essentials  

  • 3-5 years of talent acquisition, employer branding or recruitment marketing experience preferred 

  • Passion for storytelling: You understand the elements that go into creating cohesive and captivating stories that build brand reputation. 

  • Creative conceptualization: You can take broad concepts and translate them into effective, creative campaigns tailored to the APAC region that resonate with relevant audiences. Familiarity with graphic design a plus. 

  • Exceptional editorial skills: You can write both short- and long-form content and can deftly adapt your writing style to our brand voice. 

  • Project management: You enjoy taking on new projects, can effectively prioritize tasks, and exercise decisive judgment to execute them from start to finish in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 

  • Inclusive perspective: You’ve worked with global teams before and have familiarity with cultural nuances as they relate to recruiting and retaining talent. 

  • Relationship building: You’re a great teammate who can effectively partner and collaborate with various teams across different functions and in different regions. This role will be working closely with a team that is primarily based on the east and west coasts of the U.S. 

  • Technical prowess and digital savvy: You have experience with the usual tools like MS Office, are familiar with various social media platforms, and can get up to speed on new systems and platforms with ease.
