Demand Planner HP Store Europe - Peripherals Central

Description -

HP Shopping EMEA is the direct motion to serve end users and SMB via web or Tele-sales. This is a fast-growing business, deployed in 10 countries in EMEA.

The fulfilment model is managed through owned inventory. In order to optimize availability, which is the key trigger for next day delivery SLA, a full business planning team is managing end to end processes to ensure max availability on “must-have” products, prevent any stock disruption and ensure that products appear in the storefront at the appropriate time with the correct quantities. This involves working closely with cross functional teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

SME role

  • New replenishment and forecasting tool to be implemented
  • Secure usage and change management
  • Develop SKU level plan capability in Jarvis
  • Drive tool testing
  • Drive tool enhancements
  • Share best practices with the team

Replenishment and Order Management Activities

  • Convert country financial forecast into material requirement and sustain replenishment in alignment to sell out trend, run weekly refresh and build mitigation point
  • Develop replenishment tool based on which the planner sends an order proposal to the country
  • Ensure control mechanisms for inventory and aged targets. Advice countries on how to remain within those targets
  • Ensure production orders are placed as per requirements and with the right priority with Supply Chain
  • Intake plan and backlog Management
  • Manage inventory replenishment for customer orders that cannot be fulfilled (back to back)
  • Drives the development and improvement of new or existing operational tools and reports.

Product Availability Management

  • Focus on maximizing the availability of top-selling products
  • Control consistency between Store front availability status, SAP feeds and HP Supply chain order status
  • Drive the development and improvement of the Buy-button strategy by monitoring ETA accuracy, perform root cause analysis and maintain an appropriate process

General Support

  • Monitor KPI’s for a country portfolio
  • Serve as single point of contact for Sales and Call Center teams for replenishment orders
  • Contribute to NPS (Net Promotor Score) improvement by maximizing product availability
  • Secure broker/ retail deals together with telesales team. Coordinate with the warehouse and the customer regarding delivery requirements

Qualifications

  • University Degree (Bachelor or Master)
  • Aptitude and readiness for learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Strong Tableau skills, Microsoft Excel expertise (SQL is a plus)
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated individual
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced English. Any other European language is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong data minded and Business Analysis skills
  • Solid understanding of forecasting & planning – associated tools, methods, processes, data collection & analysis requirements
  • Problem solving abilities and Project Management Technics (Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PMI)
  • Cross-functional operations knowledge
