Job Description

This role is a Custom Silicon Operation Product Engineer, Assembly and Test, based in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Responsibilities include driving custom silicon package level yield analysis, monitoring, and improvement; managing excursions and failure analysis; leading cross-functional efforts for technology and operational readiness during New Product Introduction (NPI); resolving technical and operational issues; leading early production site qualifications for NPI; leading yield and process improvements; and leading suppliers to establish and validate process capability and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in program management, semiconductor process/yield and product engineering, and leading cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD and experience with SoC and PMIC productization.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in data analysis using semiconductor production data and leading cross-functional teams with technical leadership and executive communication.
  • Experience as a Semiconductor Process/Yield and product engineer.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Material Engineering is preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing.
  • Experience with SoC and Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) productization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive custom silicon package level Yield analysis, Yield monitoring and Yield improvement, excursion management and failure analysis (e.g. ATE and SLT Yield).
  • Drive cross-functional efforts for technology and operational readiness during New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Drive and resolve technical and operational issues of material, process, fixtures and equipment to enable delivery of product and manufacturing process during NPI into mass production.
  • Lead early production site qualifications for NPI. Lead Yield and process improvements, development and validation CIP.
  • Lead suppliers to establish and validate process capability and performance metrics using statistical tools and techniques for consistently delivering high quality products and for excursion management.
