Architect and design enterprise software or cloud services using C++ across various platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Chrome, Android, iOS).

Lead a team of software engineers, driving the design and development of major architectural components.

Champion engineering initiatives and foster a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Participate in all phases of software development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

Communicate regularly with product management and release teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Mentor and coach engineers, creating career plans and providing technical guidance.

Implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD.

Handle customer and product escalations, prioritizing engineering work effectively.

At least 14 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 4 years in technical leadership.

Strong background in architecting and designing enterprise software or cloud services using C++.

Experience managing teams and driving the design, implementation, and delivery of software solutions.

Proficiency in DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and geographies.

First 2 Months: Understand product architecture, development tools, and release processes. Participate in scope and architectural discussions.

Sixth Month: Take full control of team deliverables, build the product backlog, scope projects, and ensure on-time delivery with expected quality.

Establish a reputation of leadership within the team and demonstrate influence in your area of expertise.

Create career plans for team members and ensure team health through engagement, retention, and work/life balance. Work

Environment: This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local VMware (Omnissa) office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
