Our Business Intelligence team is currently looking for a BI Analyst to join the team.

In this role you will proactively support the development of business intelligence by leading the creation of dashboards and reports for key stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Follow the BI reporting & governance framework for end-to-end reporting, tooling integration and self-service BI products.
• Maintain VGW reporting taxonomy by updating and classifying terms and metrics.
• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. 
• Work closely with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the data analysis and reporting processes align with business objectives.
• Contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable analytical products, dashboards, and metrics that drive VGW crucial business decisions.
• Provide ad-hoc support on data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Run requirement sessions with the product or data team to discuss relevant requirements and best solutions.

What you will bring to the role:

• A Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or data insights 
• SQL proficiency is required 
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, etc.) to create and review queries.
• Business acumen 
• Experience working with BI analysts, data analysts, and/or cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills to identify pain points and recurring concerns. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
