Job Description

This role is for a Senior Azure Level II Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and optimizing performance. Key responsibilities include providing technical support for Azure services (VMs, Logic Apps, monitoring), managing Windows and Linux workloads, configuring Azure Logic Apps, implementing monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics), responding to escalated incidents, performing system administration tasks, collaborating on cloud infrastructure solutions, and participating in on-call rotation. Proficiency in Azure VMs, Logic Apps, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Linux and Windows administration, and scripting is crucial. Experience with GCP and configuration management tools is a plus.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Azure Level II Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure VMs, Logic Apps, and monitoring solutions. Additionally, proficiency in Linux, and Windows environments is required. As a Level II Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Azure cloud services, with a deep understanding of Azure VMs, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization.

Cloud- Microsoft Azure – In depth knowledge & working experience on Azure Subscription, Azure Network, Azure Active Directory, Express route, Compute, storage, Alerts, Hyper-V .

Hand on experience to run daily operation of Azure and Azure stack hub hosted Windows and Linux workloads. Diversified experience to manage windows OS virtual machines like patching, back up, and other OS support activities that includes L2 issue troubleshooting.

Work experience on Azure native tools like Azure monitor, Application insight, log analytics workspace Azure Policy, Azure Update, Azure security center.

Configure and manage Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation, integrating with various Azure services and external systems.

Implement and maintain monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics to monitor system performance, identify trends, and proactively address issues.

Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from Level 1 support teams, diagnosing and resolving issues related to Azure cloud services and infrastructure.

Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.

Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using monitoring tools and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and prevent downtime.

Participate in on-call rotation schedule to provide after-hours support and address critical incidents.

Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

· Proficient in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and automation workflows using AWS. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, monitoring system health and performance, and implementing security best practices. Collaboration with development and operations teams to optimize and scale applications in the AWS environment is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting Azure cloud environments.

Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, etc.

Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.

Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration, including shell scripting and PowerShell scripting.

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
