DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Contributes to the organization and creation of platform content, optimization, reporting/analytics, content development and updates to assigned social media channels working with agency and internal partners.

  • Assists others by drafting responses to requests received from internal departments, including contributing to the creation and routing of content and scheduling posts.

  • Supports product launch campaigns and Nintendo brand on each social media network, including a well-articulated approach for growing engagement with consumers and conversation.

  • Provides occasional administrative support for team operations by owning internal meetings, setting up calls, drafting and routing calendars and project schedules.

  • Daily monitoring of social channels.

  • Assists with YouTube video uploads for program team while maintaining relationships with external partners.

  • Prepares reports and presentations on social media and influencer marketing activities. May be required to present reports and presentations to senior leaders or executive management team.

  • Partners with Nintendo’s internal teams to align on content marketing, social execution and creative development, product messaging and promotions.

  • Work internationally, cross-departmentally and across agency partners to explore and identify ways of leveraging social media to drive awareness, advocacy and purchase intent for the brand and products.

  • Maintains NOA social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of public relations and/or consumer marketing experience, including social media, influencer marketing or marketing.

  • Knowledge of strategic social media, influencer marketing and public relations practices.

  • Intermediate understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and other emerging platforms – both as a marketer and as a user.

  • Experience rapidly growing and fostering an audience or community.

  • Knowledge of social media listening and reporting tools such as Sprinklr, Sysomos, Radian 6, Crimson Hexagon, and Bottlenose are a plus but not required.

  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong writing, editing and communications skills, including identification of quality social media content.

  • Cross-discipline marketing experience: PR, Advertising, CRM, Retail, Social etc.

  • Strong technical background with advanced computer skills. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.

  • Requires basic knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a job family; has exposure to current practices and procedures through coursework or internship.

  • Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes a base pay range of $28.12 - $44.95 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
