As an Area Sales Manager - EDC Retail at Paytm, you'll be responsible for increasing sales of EDC machines to merchants across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include building and managing a sales team, driving swiping device sales, resolving merchant queries, engaging the merchant base, setting team goals, overseeing daily operations, monitoring team performance, providing coaching and training, and fostering a positive team environment. You will need to identify and meet potential clients, leverage your network, and excel in cold calling, pre-sales, and lead generation. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and team-handling skills.

About the role: The person should be capable of increasing the sale of EDC machines through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.
