As the Agency Partner Lead at Canva, you will develop and execute a global strategy to make Canva the leading platform for design and implementation agencies. As the Director of Agency Partnerships, you’ll shape and lead the strategy to make Canva the go-to platform for agencies everywhere. From encouraging agencies to adopt Canva internally, to helping them deliver client projects and train others using Canva, this role is about creating meaningful partnerships that drive real impact. You’ll also design innovative incentive programs, including referral bonuses, to ensure agencies are not just engaged but actively champion Canva.

This role is about more than managing partnerships; it’s about leading a global transformation in how agencies create, collaborate, and deliver value to their clients. You’ll work with agencies of all sizes, from boutique design studios to large-scale implementation firms, empowering them to thrive in a world increasingly defined by visual-first communication.

Job Description

What you'll be doing 

  • Shape a Global Agency Strategy: You’ll develop and lead a global strategy for Canva’s Agency Partner Program, focusing on engaging design and implementation agencies. This includes creating a clear value proposition and ensuring Canva fits seamlessly into their workflows.

  • Drive Canva Adoption: You will develop and execute strategies to help agencies integrate Canva into their internal operations, replacing legacy tools and enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and creativity across their teams.

  • Create Training and Enablement Programs: Design initiatives that encourage agencies to train their teams and clients on Canva, positioning them as experts and advocates for Canva’s platform.

  • Empower Agencies to Deliver Client Projects in Canva: You will position Canva as the platform of choice for agencies to create, collaborate, and deliver work to clients. You’ll ensure agencies have the tools, training, and support they need to deliver exceptional client outcomes with Canva.

  • Incentivize Agencies with Rewards and Recognition: - Design and implement strategic incentive programs that drive engagement and adoption, including referral bonuses and co-marketing opportunities. Recognize and celebrate agencies that excel in delivering client success through Canva, strengthening their partnership with Canva and fostering loyalty.

  • Build Meaningful Relationships Across the Agency Ecosystem: Work closely with senior leaders at design and implementation agencies, understanding their unique needs and challenges while positioning Canva as a trusted partner in their growth.

  • Empower agencies to adapt to the visual communication era. You will help agencies stay ahead of a changing landscape, where companies increasingly rely on visual storytelling to connect, communicate, and stand out. By partnering with Canva, agencies will be equipped to position themselves and their clients as leaders in this transformative shift.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in agencies and program development in a related field, ideally in SaaS, design, or creative industries.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling programs that engage and incentivize partners, ideally within SaaS, design, or creative industries.
  • Strong understanding of design and implementation agencies, including their workflows, challenges, and client delivery models.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, foster trust, and create long-lasting partnerships.

When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
