The Accelerated Growth Consultant at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) works with startups and established brands in EMEA, building strategic partnerships and providing consulting services to drive business growth. This role requires fluency in Norwegian and English for effective client relationship management. Responsibilities include delivering quarterly business and product growth targets, building and managing sales pipelines, establishing client relationships, designing marketing strategies using Google's product suite (YouTube, Search, Display Network), and consulting clients on achieving national/international online marketing goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills with experience in advertising, marketing, or consulting.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in advertising/marketing/consulting
  • C-level stakeholder influence/selling
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
  • Deliver quarterly business growth targets
  • Build and manage sales pipelines
  • Consult clients on Google marketing solutions
Good to have:
  • Experience managing an advertising portfolio
  • Traditional & digital media advertising experience
  • Start-up environment experience
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategies
  • Strong storytelling and narrative building skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in Norwegian and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context.
  • Experience in promoting traditional and digital media advertising solutions.
  • Experience in hunting and acquisition within a start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary or online marketing strategy and tactics (e.g., product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas).
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and use storytelling as a customer engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quarterly business and product growth targets, while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding experience to Google's advertisers within Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
  • Build and manage a pipeline through proactive identification of business in addition to close partnership with our marketing teams.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and design effective marketing strategies using expert product knowledge and deliver outstanding customer business experience to drive long-term success for our customers.
  • Build and manage a pipeline through proactive identification of high-potential business in addition to close partnership with our marketing teams.
  • Consult with clients to achieve national and international online marketing and business goals through utilising the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions e.g., YouTube, Google Search and Display Network platforms.
