The Wealth Advisor is responsible for meeting with clients to assess their financial needs, developing financial goals and plans, and advising on suitable financial products (insurance and investments). Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing client financial information, determining financial goals, advising on product advantages/disadvantages, preparing financial plans and portfolios, working with Client Service Associates, marketing financial products, building branch relations, improving business and client service, and planning future client interactions. The role also involves researching new products and keeping up with economic data.
Must have:
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Series 7, 63, and 65/66 licenses
  • State Insurance License

Job Summary:

Responsible for meeting and consulting with members to assess their financial planning needs by reviewing their financial information, then developing financial goals and creating financial plans to assist them in meeting their goals.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Meets with clients and prospects. Collects and analyzes information regarding the members’ income, assets, investments or debts. Determines financial goals with the members. Ascertains which financial products best meet the members’ needs and financial circumstances in order to achieve those goals.  After careful consideration, advises the member regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products, including insurance and investment products. 

  • Prepares for client meetings, creates financial plans, and creates portfolios.

  • Works on the business with the Client Service Associate (CSA) (where applicable).  Markets the Partners financial products, builds branch relations, determines ways to improve business and client service, and plans for future client interactions (client appreciation, client lunches, seminars, etc.)

  • Researches new products, keeps up with economic data.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience

  • Series 7

  • Series 63 and 65 or 66

  • State Insurance License

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Financial Services experience

  • Experience in personal finance planning

Compensation Note

In addition to base pay listed below, this role is eligible for commissions.


The hiring base for CA is $62,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units could be part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
