We are seeking a VP, Global Creative to supervise Hasbro brands’ visual creative direction, franchise and marketing creative development, along with packaging & visual communication while ensuring consistency, and overall resonance across media platforms, and global markets.

The VP of Global Creative will work with Brand Creative, Graphic Design, and CoE functions. They will collaborate with Brand partners and Toy/Game Design leads to deliver cohesive creative direction that reflects Hasbro's brand vision and achieves business goals.

This team will be the capability hub in ensuring the brand expression globally. The Creative Lead will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation, setting global creative standards, and aligning creative outputs with broader business goals. Additionally, the role will focus on encouraging a culture of innovation while maintaining alignment with company goals, ensuring Hasbro's creative efforts are both visionary and operationally sound.

Day in the Life of VP, Global Creative Development Lead:

  • Global Creative Strategy and Vision: Lead the development and execution of the visual creative strategy for Hasbro’s diverse portfolio ensuring it reflects the brand identity, values and marketing positioning by being consistent, impactful, and globally relevant across product categories, digital platforms, entertainment, e-commerce, and events.
  • Global Brand Creative Stewardship: Serve as the brand creative ambassador, ensuring that all creative outputs reflect the brand’s vision and resonate across global markets. Additionally, stay ahead of global market trends, consumer behavior and competitive activities to drive powerful, unique creative strategies that set us apart and ensure a strong competitive edge for the Hasbro brands.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (Product Management, Marketing, Product Development etc.) to align creative strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring efficient execution across global markets.
  • Innovation & Process Optimization: Drive innovation in creative processes, and systems by using new technologies and methodologies to deliver immersive consumer experiences and stay ahead in the market.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee the development of world-class assets, including multimedia campaigns, digital content, brand style guides, packaging and other brand materials. Implement and manage workflow processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining the highest level of creative excellence.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish KPI’s to measure effectiveness of creative initiatives and branding efforts. Analyze performance data to drive informed decisions and optimize creative strategies.
  • Center of Excellence Leadership: Establish and lead a Center of Excellence for Creative Operations, driving best practices in design and innovation across multiple brand teams and regions. Ensure the creative vision is scalable globally but flexible enough to cater to regional market’s cultural nuances while maintaining consistency in brand messaging.
  • Resource Allocation & Optimization: Oversee resource allocation across global teams, ensuring optimal use of talent, budgets, and timelines to achieve strategic objectives and deliver creative excellence.
  • Talent Development & Team Leadership: Guide and mentor diverse talent of creative teams driving their development and ensuring a high standard of creative output globally.

Provide Leadership in the following areas:

  • Being responsible for Branding Development, Franchise and Marketing Creative Development and Packaging & Visual Communication.
  • Branding Development: Overseeing Brand Teams of blue-sky thinkers to build the tonal and visual language of our brands for application across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Franchise and Marketing Creative Development: Build comprehensive extensions and add-ons to enhance and expand overall brand storytelling.
  • Packaging & Visual Communications: Build visual communication experts who establish brands’ omnichannel presence across brick-and-mortar retail, ecommerce and events.
  • Delivering a cohesive visual brand language across the shopper journey.
  • Ensuring consistent and seamless blending of cultural elements into brands’ identity.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in brand creative development with a focus on business and process improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. demonstrated ability leading and managing creative teams, with demonstrated success in a lifestyle brand environment.
  • Consistent record of developing and driving creative strategies across multiple product categories, ensuring brand consistency and operational alignment.
  • Strong technical competence in running through creative processes and systems, translations & adaptations, digital asset management and package engineering.
  • Enthusiastic about establishing processes and enabling improvement initiatives, while providing the tools, resources, and guidelines necessary to complete effective branding.
  • Champion teamwork and communication between teams to improve creative excellence through shared insights.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of creative teams and promote a culture of innovation.
  • Experience leading global teams and projects, with an understanding of cultural nuances and market differences. Lead and encourage a distributed team of creative professionals with clear roles, responsibilities, and career development plans.
  • Strong critical thinking with experience in prioritizing resources, handling budgets, and optimizing creative workflows.

Compensation Range, US Currency 
Starting Pay Range: $225,000
Pay Range End: $275,000
