Bonus points for familiarity with programming languages (C++ preferred), game engines (UE5, Unity), and source control systems (GitLab, Perforce).

Job Description:

Elsewhere Entertainment is seeking a Technical QA Analyst to join our team in the development of an exciting new IP. As a Technical QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our features by working closely with our development team. You will be embedded within the team, providing continuous feedback and maintaining the bug database to ensure a smooth development process.


In this role, you will utilize a variety of tools to identify and report bugs, ensuring that all issues are documented and addressed promptly. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be essential in analyzing features and designs even before they are implemented, allowing you to provide valuable feedback and minimize risks.


As a Technical QA Analyst, you will be responsible for writing and performing test cases, ensuring that all aspects of the project are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards of quality.


You’ll help us by…

  • Embedded within the development team to maintain the highest quality standards for features and tools.

  • Utilize various tools to provide feedback and keep the bug database updated.

  • Write and perform tests based on test cases.

  • Analyze features and designs before implementation to provide feedback and minimize risks.


You’re awesome because you have:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a QA role.

  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes.

  • Understanding of QA methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.


Bonus Points for:

  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably C++).

  • Experience with working in game creation engines (UE5, Unity or similar).

  • Experience with source control systems (for example GitLab, Perforce).

  • Innovative thinking and creativity.

  • Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
