As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games. Responsibilities: <ul><li>8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on Software Testing tailored for USA clients.</li><li>Experience in QA Tax domain specific to the USA market is highly desirable.</li><li>Conduct thorough testing of tax preparation software and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state tax regulations in the USA, including Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines.</li><li>Validate the calculation and reporting of various tax liabilities, deductions, credits, and exemptions, with a focus on detecting errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies.</li><li>Develop and execute test cases to assess the functionality and performance of tax calculation engines, electronic filing systems, and tax reporting interfaces.</li><li>Strong expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, with hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Collaborate with internal tax teams to define test objectives, scope, and criteria, and facilitate the resolution of audit findings and recommendations.</li><li>Develop and execute test cases to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities for test automation, working closely with Team Leads and automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts, accelerate testing cycles, and improve productivity.</li><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and user guides, ensuring clarity and completeness for stakeholders and end-users.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, taxation domains, continuously expanding domain knowledge and expertise.</li><li>Lead and mentor a global team of quality assurance professionals of both employees and contingent workers. </li></ul>
Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Post-graduation degree in Finance, Taxation, or a related field, with a strong understanding of taxation principles, regulations, and compliance requirements would be a plus.</li><li>5+ years’ experience in software testing required, with a demonstrated ability to apply domain expertise to testing activities and product enhancement suggestions.</li><li>Familiarity with test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA), along with experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with SMEs to gather requirements and feedback.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a passion for continuous improvement and professional development.</li><li>Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and experience in Agile or DevOps environments are desirable but not mandatory.</li><li>Knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices </li></ul>
