Job Description

As a Technical Lead, Security, Google Cloud, you'll lead projects across multiple teams, creating processes and executing strategies for timely project development while adhering to Google's technical standards. Responsibilities include guiding engineers in new product development, leading software architecture and design for reusable products, ensuring software development aligns with company procedures, understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements, and enhancing user experience. You'll need extensive experience in software development, testing, launching products, and technical leadership, along with expertise in security technologies and cloud computing platforms. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.

Must have:

8+ years software development experience
5+ years software product testing & launch
3+ years software design & architecture
C#, .Net Core, Python experience
Technical leadership & project management
Experience in matrixed organizations

Good to have:

SIEM, SOAR, EDR experience
Cloud computing platform experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience with C#, .Net Core, Python, or other programming languages.
Experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR.
Experience with cloud computing platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Help and guide engineers to develop new products and oversee the successful execution of projects throughout the year while ensuring that the team meet Google's technical standards.
Lead software architecture and designs that provide reusable, robust, and well-documented products.
Execute software development in accordance with processes defined by the Company Control Procedures with guidance from the R&D Managers.
Understand business needs and what technical requirements are needed to achieve their objectives.
Become essential member of project and bring our User Experience to the next level.
