IO Interactive is currently looking for a Technical Animator to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the gameplay and cinematic animation teams to ensure all animations are implemented smoothly and fluidly.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to animation, ensuring a seamless experience for both developers and players.
  • Collaborate with animators, riggers, and programmers to develop and maintain animation systems and pipelines.
  • Optimize animation processes to improve efficiency and quality, ensuring high performance across various platforms.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for animation-related tools and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of proprietary tools and technologies to support animation workflows.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced technical animator with a strong background in AAA game development and animation.
  • Proficient in animation software and tools such as Maya, MotionBuilder, and relevant game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine).
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining animation systems and pipelines.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to animation.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including animators, riggers, and programmers.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for optimizing animation processes and enhancing overall quality.

About The Company

IO Interactive is a 25-year old, AAA independent game studio, creators of HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters. We are currently working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and continue to develop Glacier, our award-winning game engine.
