IO Interactive seeks a Global Marketing Specialist to support marketing and brand management teams. Responsibilities include coordinating with partners, agencies, and artists for efficient asset distribution; managing communications; supporting agency requests; assisting with event logistics (including press, distributions, and tech setups); and providing day-to-day marketing support. The ideal candidate is passionate about video games, highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses experience in marketing and event management. Proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools is crucial. Marketing education and/or events management experience are highly desirable.

IO Interactive is looking for a Global Marketing Specialist to support our marketing and brand management teams. In this multifaceted role, you'll coordinate with partners, agencies, and artists, ensuring smooth communication and efficient asset distribution. You'll also play a key role in organizing and assisting at industry events, launches, and demos.

What you will do:

    • Provide day-to-day support for our marketing and brand management.
    • Manage and respond to communication in Marketing inboxes promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with IOI partners by following up on emails, sharing assets, and providing necessary updates.
    • Support agencies by collecting and distributing requested materials such as trailers and other assets.
    • Coordinate with artists and ensure they have all necessary resources to complete their work.
    • Assist at industry events, launch events, and demos by welcoming press, handling distributions, and managing event tech setups.

Who you are:

    • Passion for video games and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
    • Experience in a corporate environment with excellent organisational and detail-oriented skills.
    • Proven ability to handle administrative tasks, including file organisation, scheduling meetings, and managing calls.
    • Proficiency in using Excel and other relevant tools to support operational efficiency.
    • Marketing education or professional background is highly desirable.
    • Events management experience is a strong advantage, including coordinating logistics and providing on-site support.

About The Company

IO Interactive is a 25-year old, AAA independent game studio, creators of HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters. We are currently working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and continue to develop Glacier, our award-winning game engine.


We are a diverse team of designers, producers, artists, programmers and operations supporters from 40+ different nationalities, working on cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art game design.


The creative teams involved in producing our games are supported by our tech department, which delivers our own Glacier engine, and the incubation department, which helps the team to prototype new and exciting features, game mechanics, or even brand new IPs.


We know that the gaming world is in constant change – and so is IOI - but no matter what we do, we can assure you that it will not be boring.


IO Interactive was established in September 1998. The IO Interactive technology team consists of programmers, software engineers and mathematicians with considerable experience in game programming and 3D graphics. Graphic designers, artists and animators are recruited from the game and entertainment industry, as well as the best art schools from all over the world.
