Systems Tester, Portfolio Administration Systems

We are looking for an enthusiastic Systems Tester to join our team in Gurugram, India. In this role,

Systems Tester will work with the project team to review technical requirements, define test plans, test

cases, plan execution, execute tests, and defect filing.

In addition to providing a very high level of customer service, you will develop strong relationships with

internal customers and IS technical staff. You will provide test support to both local and remote teams,

maintain systems documentation and contribute to IS projects.

Individuals applying for this position must be able to multi-task, have a strong attention to detail,

professional demeanor and be able to adapt into a growing and changing environment.

What You Will Do

  • Experience testing cross-functional business applications.
  • Work experience with software quality control concepts and practices.
  • Work experience using manual software testing processes.
  • Work experience using automated software testing tools and processes.
  • Troubleshooting skills and troubleshoot testing issues using development tools, for example, SQLServer, etc.
  • Ability to create, update, and review test documentation.
  • Knowledgeable of defect resolution processes and practices.
  • Work experience with test case management, requirements and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Update knowledge base and documentation.
  • Experience with backend and API testing and related test tools, for example SoapUI, Postman, etc.
  • Able to communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, testers and business users.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of business users and management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with motivation, self-direction, and good time management skills.

What You Bring

  • Degree or diploma in computer science field, or Information Management, or Information Technology field.
  • Minimum of four years (4+yrs) of experience relevant to the role
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with application support.
  • Experience with developer tools (SQL-Server, C#, VBScript, etc.)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with manual testing methods.
  • Experience with automated testing software.
