As a Supply Chain Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Drive material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production handoff, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure a handoff for the Networking product group. Identify, communicate, and manage supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds as well as supply continuity into production. Develop and document global supply chain map including suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies. Manage spend against project budgets, BOM health, forecast readiness in Google designated tools, and manage production risk buys. Update project schedules, communicate status, risks and influence change, and represent the NPI Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives and process improvements to help the team grow.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution
  • Ability to deliver data driven/fact based analysis for business proposal, supply chain design, and supply risk mitigation
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization, with experience leading cross-functional process improvements
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations
  • Experience with rack, server, advanced cooling solution development
  • Experience across all phases of a product from prototype to mass production, and with Supply/Demand Planning and Accounting/Finance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations.
