Job Description

This Product Manager role at Google focuses on developing procurement and commercial solutions. You'll guide products from conception to launch, bridging technical and business needs. Responsibilities include leveraging data analysis (including PLX expertise) to inform product strategy, aligning development with business goals, balancing product quality with speed to market, driving cross-functional alignment, and advocating for user needs. The goal is to create a product that provides actionable intelligence, streamlines workflows, and saves Google money by transforming procurement processes. This role requires strong collaboration with engineers, designers, and marketers.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Product Management
  • 3+ years taking technical ideas to launch
  • Data analysis and PLX expertise
  • Cross-functional alignment and collaboration
Good to have:
  • Experience leading diverse teams
  • Experience with experimentation, analysis, and measurement
  • B2B enterprise software or procure-to-pay experience
  • UX design experience
  • Ability to define product strategy and vision

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related Technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical ideas from conception to launch.
  • 3 years of experience in Product Management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams with diverse backgrounds in a technical division.
  • Experience with experimentation, analysis, and measurement.
  • Experience in a Business-to-Business enterprise software environment or procure-to-pay or lead-to-cash software ecosystem.
  • Experience working with UX design with a passion for building high-quality user experiences.
  • Ability to define to product strategy and product vision based on diverse inputs including customer needs, research, data and industry trends.
