Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete analog layout ownership of analog hard macro, including planning and execution across multiple products
Collaborate with the analog design team for layout reviews and EMIR simulations.
Collaborate with the Process Development Kit (PDK) team, as well as the digital and physical integration teams, to enable the seamless integration of the analog hard macro into the chip.
Using recommended layout and verification techniques, tools, and flows to produce optimal designs
Maintain documentation and checklists for deliverables as per the New Product Development (NPD) flow.
Mentor junior layout designers
Minimum Requirements:
5-8 years’ experience as physical layout designer
Expert-level knowledge in analog mixed-signal layout.
Expert-level knowledge in chip-level power routing, shielding techniques, and pad placements
Expert-level knowledge in LVS, PERC checks, DRC checks, including density, DFM, antenna, and EM.
Ability to work within and effectively collaborate with cross-functional team
Strong communication skills
