Enphase Energy seeks a Senior Engineer MTT to support their high-volume manufacturing and test setups in India. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving test hardware and software, collaborating with global teams, coordinating with NPI and manufacturing teams, developing test system processes, and driving closed-loop responses to factory and field failures. The role requires expertise in power electronics, PCBA testing, and Python programming. The ideal candidate will have experience in yield improvement projects, improving manufacturing test processes, and maintaining test systems in high-volume manufacturing environments. Failure analysis techniques are also essential.
Must have:
- 3+ years in electrical/electronic manufacturing test environment
- Expertise with power electronics
- PCBA testing knowledge (ICT, FT)
- Supporting changes/upgrades to test hardware/software
- Coordinating with NPI, Manufacturing and Quality teams
- Developing and documenting test system processes
Good to have:
- Python programming skills
- Database experience (SQL)
- SPC/DOE knowledge

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team and help us create stunning and seamless user interfaces. About the role:
Enphase has multiple high-volume manufacturing and test setups globally. You will support the manufacturing test setup in India and ensure they meet the highest reliability and quality standards in the industry. You will work closely with all production sites to monitor, maintain, and improve test hardware and software. You will also work with the NPI and design teams to successfully introduce new products into production.
The job consists of understanding, supporting, and improving the test technology, strategy, hardware, and software to be deployed at Enphase’s various production facilities. Enphase’s products often carry a relatively long warranty in the field; therefore, our manufacturing process and test must support the quality required. This often results in unique product features, disciplined manufacturing processes, and rigorous testing.
The job consists of understanding, supporting, and improving the test technology, strategy, hardware, and software to be deployed at Enphase’s various production facilities. Enphase’s products often carry a relatively long warranty in the field; therefore, our manufacturing process and test must support the quality required. This often results in unique product features, disciplined manufacturing processes, and rigorous testing.
Responsibility:
• Working with geographically dispersed teams consisting of Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Technicians.
• Supporting changes and upgrades to Enphase production test hardware and software.
• Coordinating with the NPI, Manufacturing and Quality teams at contract manufacturing sites.
• Developing and documenting test system processes and maintenance routines, including calibration, replacement schedule, repeatability test, etc.
• Coordinating closely with the Mfg. SW Development Team to design and ensure a fault-tolerant test system.
• Maintaining, debugging, and supporting the production facilities where the test systems are deployed.
• Driving closed-loop response to factory and field failures (RMA) by identifying test gaps and opportunities.
• Supporting changes and upgrades to Enphase production test hardware and software.
• Coordinating with the NPI, Manufacturing and Quality teams at contract manufacturing sites.
• Developing and documenting test system processes and maintenance routines, including calibration, replacement schedule, repeatability test, etc.

• B.E/M.Tech. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or other suitable educational background or work experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
