Job Description

This Software Engineer, Full Stack, Dataplex role at Google focuses on the data plane of a central platform, driving team initiatives. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and launching new products and features with high velocity and quality. You'll participate in monitoring and debugging, support frequent releases, manage project priorities, define technical goals, and lead cross-team alignments. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of software development experience in languages like Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript, with expertise in front-end and full-stack development. Experience with UI frameworks (Angular, React) and Java or Kotlin is preferred.

Must have:

5+ years software development experience
Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
Full-stack development experience
Design, implement, and launch new features
Monitoring, debugging, and support

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience with Angular or React
Experience with Java or Kotlin

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Experience with front-end and full-stack development.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience in Angular, React or similar User Interface (UI) frameworks.
Experience in Java or Kotlin.

Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts, support frequent releases.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Define technical goals and direction, lead the cross-team alignments within the product.
Lead cross-team designs and alignments.
