Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Developer III, Full Stack, to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software. This role requires full-stack development expertise, including back-end (Java) and front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript) experience. The ideal candidate will leverage Google technologies (Java, Angular/TypeScript, Onestack, Boq, Spanner, etc.) and collaborate with Product Management, UX Design, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing project priorities and communicating effectively across teams. The work involves building experiences for both external and internal users, contributing to next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. The role demands versatility, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Must have:

Full-stack development (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Data structures and algorithms experience
Experience with Web Applications
Google Cloud Platform technologies
Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain software

Good to have:

Master's degree in Computer Science
Experience developing accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript or equivalent.
Experience with Web Applications.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software in a full-stack team.
Leverage Google technologies such as Java, Angular/Typescript, Onestack, Boq, Spanner, etc.
Partner with Product Managements (PMs), User Experience design (UXDs), and business stakeholders to build experiences for external and internal users.
Manage individual and project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Communicate effectively across teams, including business teams.
