Responsibilities

The position offered is for a central system engineer. The candidate will be working mainly on a lottery on-line transaction processing system based on Linux/Unix system and written in C technology. 

Tasks: 
•Development and maintenance of a complex lottery on-line transaction processing systems
•Maintaining existing system installations for our clients
•Implementation of changes and new functionalities in existing systems at the client’s request, a full range of tasks from requirements specification to QA test support
•Developing new system implementations - adapting the baseline system based on customer requirements
•Participation in future system implementations for customers around the world

 

Qualifications

Candidate Profile: 
•Higher or technical education and at least 1 years of programming experience preferred
•Very good knowledge and experience in working with C/C++, Unix/Linux and software development 
•Very good command of English is essential 
•Communication skills 
•Flexibility, motivation, initiative 
•Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge 
•Open to travelling 

Not required but advantageous skills: 
•Knowledge of Java SE and EE technologies
•Unix shell scripting
•Client-server programming with REST API
•Python programming
•Designing and programming large-scale, distributed systems 
•Knowledge of relational databases in the most popular RDBMS systems. 
•Knowledge of cloud solutions
