As a Service Engineering you will be responsible for the development and execution of service strategies for consumer products. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and serviceability, and develops and implements service processes that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development and execution of service strategies related to NPI product development of Consumer Hardware Engineer (HW) Service Operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand customers’ requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide products design for repairability and serviceability.
  • Track and report on Service Engineering metrics, such as refining the Service Requirement Definition (SRD) for product design and tracing scores for all products.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for NPI service improvement and setting product design for serviceability / repairability targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best in service engineering.
