Seedify MetaStudios seeks a Senior UI Engineer with Unreal Engine expertise for their Seedworld project. Responsibilities involve collaborating with art, design, and development teams; implementing diverse game systems; optimizing existing systems; writing clean, efficient code; participating in code reviews; creating technical documentation; staying current with Unreal Engine advancements; and debugging and profiling. Experience with Unreal Engine 5, timely prototyping, cross-discipline teamwork, and implementing scalable solutions is crucial. AAA project experience, especially in MMO or UGC, and C++ knowledge are essential. Bonus skills include MMO/Metaverse/AAA project experience in Unreal Engine 5, blockchain project experience, and engine editor tool development.

Job Details
Seedify MetaStudios is looking for a talented and experienced Generalist Game Engineer to join one of the most unique UGC platforms in the games industry: Seedworld. You have a strong knowledge of a variety of game systems implementation with Unreal Engine and experience setting up or collaborating with other engineers implementing multiple systems for scalable game projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with art, design, and development teams ensuring both visual and functional requirements are met
Implement diverse game systems for prototyping and beyond
Optimize and improve existing systems (including but not limited to gameplay, AI, data management, etc)
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews
Create and maintain technical documentation
Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine and improvements
Debugging and profiling
Experience:
Experienced using Unreal Engine 5
Experience in delivering timely prototype
Experience working in cross-discipline teams
Experience implementing scalable solutions
Experience in UI in AAA projects especially if MMO or UGC
Working Knowledge of C++
Nice to have/Preferred/Bonus skills:
Experience participating in building an MMO, Metaverse, or a AAA project in Unreal Engine 5
Experience with blockchain project
Experienced in optimizing, profiling, and debugging in Unreal Engine 5
Experience in developing engine editor tools
Team Structure:
You will be an integral part of a UE game engineering team (Seedwolrd), working closely with other UE engineers and in contact with the design and art teams for various core aspects of the game development implementation, or assisting in their implementation along with other engineers.

100% remote
