Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior UI Designer to contribute to their Global UI Automotive team. Responsibilities include designing graphical user interfaces for in-vehicle information and communication systems for both global and domestic markets. This involves utilizing participatory and iterative design techniques, including customer workshops, to design and specify user interfaces and animations. The role demands effective communication of design concepts and rationale, creation and analysis of design language for prototypes and systems, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Projects focus on innovative concepts and graphics for the digital cockpits of future vehicles.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Visual Design or related field
Strong UI design knowledge and methodology
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma
Excellent communication and organization skills
Fluent English (speaking and writing)

Good to have:

Automotive industry experience
Agile/Scrum experience
Project/team leadership experience
International/multicultural business experience
Chinese language proficiency (C1 Advanced)

Project description

Luxoft has a strong Global UI Automotive team. This team is working UI Projects for several international car manufacturers. Innovative concepts and amazing graphics need to be developed for the digital cockpit of future vehicles. We are looking for Senior UI Designer to join our team, to work on Global and domestic Projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and design of graphical user interfaces for complex in-Vehicle Information and Communication systems for both Global and domestic market.

Design and specify user interfaces and animations using participatory and iterative design techniques, including customer workshops and other forms of requirements discovery.

Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Create and analyze design language in order to produce design prototypes and design systems.

Working with an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, human factors, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.

Skills

Must have

Bachelor degree or above in Visual design or a related digital design discipline.

Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology.

Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.

A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people.

Good communication and organization skills plus summary report skill

Strong ability to present design ideas and results internally and externally with customer.

Fluent in English, both speaking and writing

Account based sense and Project/Program manager's Skill

Nice to have

Experience in Automotive Industry

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Experience in project leading or team leading

International and multi-cultural business experience

Other

Languages

English: B2 Upper Intermediate,Chinese: C1 Advanced
