Senior Specialist Strategy – Supply Chain Management: This candidate will help to drive advanced analytics by provide recommendations and guidance on ways to translate data into actionable information and insights in order to make better business decisions for Nissan Supply Chain.

 Job functions Include but are not limited to:

• Lead cross functional teams to reach targets for innovation projects
• Set appropriate steps for innovation projects adoption
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using a variety of techniques to meet SCM business needs and adapt them to SCM business based on the analysis
• Use SCM business knowledge and data understanding to select appropriate modeling techniques for the situation
• Ability to acquire and maintain SCM business requirements including supporting documentation for data and reporting
• SCM business understanding needed to conduct analysis through collaboration with SCM business partners as well as external vendors, when needed
• Comfortable presenting data recommendations and findings to wide audience range from peer to executive level management
• Assist end-users with necessary training in order to make them proficient at answers analytical questions that arise.
• Utilizing Python/R, RPA, Tableau and various other tools (from Nissan Digital Tool Stack) to automate business processes and reporting
• Leverage data from various functions across Nissan to create value for Nissan Supply Chain
• Comfortable creating and deploying AI and machine learning algorithms
• Ability to work with multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Manage a technical experts to reach their targets

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Industrial Engineer, Systems Engineer, business analytics, statistics, operations research, or mathematics, with demonstrable qualifications in SQL, Python and Microsoft 365

Experience: Demonstrated applicable school work/internship experience or 2+ year’s data analysis and/or supply chain experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
• Demonstrated Proficiency in Python and R
• Experience in project management & leading teams
• Experience in Agile management and other tools of project management
• Understanding of RPA process selection
• Demonstrated ability to apply machine learning and AI to supply chain problems
• Experience in creating and deploying analytics applications
• Understanding of data architecture concepts
• Ability to apply technical analytics concepts to business problems
• Ability and willingness to learn Nissan business operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: s + Supply Chain minor or greater

Experience: 3+ years of data analysis experience, supply chain experience a plus

• Project management experience
• Supply chain experience (transportation, warehousing, inventory management, production scheduling/planning, risk assessment, manufacturing)
• Knowledge or experience working in agile framework
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated skills in meeting deadlines
• Solid business acumen with advance skills in understanding organizational processes and executing business analytics to identify variances and trends
• Effective with communication, business partnering, and presenting to senior leaders
