Who we are

As part of the Infrastructure and Platform organization, the Release Team is focused on delivering a fast and reliable platform that empowers Attentive engineers to iterate quickly. We are owners and experts in our problem space. We partner with teams in Product, Compute, DevEx, Security, etc. to deliver high impact solutions while minimizing the risk to our stakeholders. We are designers, builders, and collaborators.

The Release Team is focused on delivering a fast, safe, and reliable developer experience. Our focus is on Continuous Delivery (CD) and ensuring that production changes are safe. We use modern tools (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Datadog, etc) and we write code to fill any gaps. You will help design and build the “golden path” that enables our product engineers to move fast…and not break things. Your ideas and suggestions can help drive the roadmaps of your own and other teams, putting you in the driver seat!

Why Attentive needs you

Design and implement the “Golden Path” to production
Own and maintain the backend infrastructure that support application deployments
Be the go-to expert on the Attentive deployment system
Partner with product engineering teams to ensure best practices are utilized
Exercise and grow expertise in CI/CD pipelines, release automation, GitOps and more
Automate repetitive jobs
Provide excellent ideas and feedback, participating in code reviews and discussions

About you

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release, SRE or similar role
Proficient in at least 1 coding language (Python, Golang, Java, Typescript, etc)
Experience with CI/CD tooling such as ArgoCD, CircleCI, Github, Jenkins, etc.
Experience with container orchestration and Infrastructure as Code such as Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute
Track record of delivering medium to large impactful projects
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a fast paced, reliability focused production environment

For US based applicants:

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000 - $220,000 annually + equity + benefits

- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
