The Challenge
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep HR expertise and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Programme Manager should be motivated by a passion for optimizing productivity and ensuring the successful completion of programs from inception to conclusion. This role will work closely with the Global Human Resources Teams such as HR Operations, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, HR Technology, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development.
What You’ll Take On
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent HR projects and programmes.
Define HR programme objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for HR initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication on HR programmes.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact HR programme delivery.
Monitor HR programme progress and performance, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate HR programme status and gather feedback.
Ensure that HR programme deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR team.
Collaborate with HR leadership to develop strategies and solutions that support organizational goals.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in programme or project management within Human Resources.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale HR programmes with multiple projects.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and UK employment law.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate HR teams to achieve programme goals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management: In-depth knowledge of project management principles and practices; well versed in managing projects in a variety of methodologies, waterfall, agile, and hybrid.
Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues.
Strategic Thinking: Capability to align HR programme objectives with organizational goals and strategic vision.
Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify solutions and make informed decisions.
Budget Management: Experience in managing programme budgets and financials.
Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating resources, timelines, and scope changes.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR functions such as total rewards, HR operations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
HR Systems Expertise: Experience with Workday preferred as well as other HRIS systems, Lattice, Greenhouse, Cornerstone, etc.
