  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality pioneering games across all stages of the development life cycle from conception to portfolio and beyond. Ensuring the team are all aligned to deliver projects in line with budgets, timescales and scheduled
  • Key decision maker across own project portfolio, helping to mitigate risks, resolve challenges and expertly translate technical specifications to non-technical stakeholders
  • Review project milestones, reports and ensure the development statuses are accurate and fair
  • Provide accurate reporting across all projects and provide timely updates to all key stakeholders
  • Run Scrums and embedding agile working principles that help respond to urgent requirements
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a small team of producers to deliver the highest Project Management standards, balancing quality, budget, and timelines
  • Supporting Outsource partners and integrating and managing external outsource teams will be a key part of this role.
  • Owning the production process whilst deployed on projects and delivering and maintaining Team17 standards will be crucial.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Proven success in Production within a games developer with experience across all current platforms.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of multiplayer cross-play gaming, game server <> client & P2P architecture, and live-ops.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate through excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions, both solo and as part of a team.
  • Hands-On: Ready to roll up your sleeves and work across all levels of Production.
  • Clarity: Great at bringing clarity in uncertain situations.
  • Agility: Able to juggle multiple tasks while keeping an eye on long-term goals.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with modern methodologies like Agile (certification is a plus).
  • Commercial awareness: ability to deliver quality games in line with business needs through effective budget management
  • Jira / Confluence are key tools for us, knowledge and experience of these would be beneficial

What's In It For You?

  • Bonuses & Shares: Annual bonus, pension match up to 8%, Share Save Scheme, and £1000 in free shares for all Teamsters!
  • Learning: Dedicated learning time—6 days a year for self-directed learning, plus organised learning and conferences.
  • Healthcare: Private medical insurance covering pre-existing conditions and reduced Dental scheme.
  • Flexibility: Hybrid working, home and office.
  • Perks: Game console loans up to £500, game keys, free arcade games, pool tables, and gaming competitions. Plus, look out for treats sent to your home throughout the year to celebrate life at Team17 and our successes!
