Job Description

Your Role:

Looking for a new challenge?! Join our growing Engineering team to undertake  Defence infrastructure projects.  Based 3 days a week in our Glasgow offices you will:

🔹 Define project requirements and stakeholder needs.

🔹 Coordinate engineering support across the supply chain.

🔹 Ensure compliance with organisational standards during design and construction.

🔹 Supervise contractors' technical work and construction activities.

🔹 Direct commissioning/decommissioning processes and maintain stakeholder communication.

🔹 Uphold Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards. 

Qualifications

Profile:

Attributes for success: 

Essential:

🔧 Wide-ranging knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering.

🏭 Design and substantiation of mechanical plant and equipment.

📜 Familiarity with UK statutory legislation such as PED, CDM, and the Machinery Directive. 📚 Knowledge of British Standards and current UK nuclear regulations.

🔍 Experience across concept/detailed design, manufacturing, and construction stages in highly regulated industries.

🔍 Conducting site surveys and project engineering.

📝 Authoring technical documentation and reviewing contractor documentation.

🔹 Security clearance required; Sole UK national or ability to gain security clearance.

Desirable:

🏗️ Construction management experience.

🚀 Commissioning experience.
