Job Description
The Senior Manager - Risk role at Dream Sports is critical in ensuring the Trust & Safety of the platform and its users. This involves leveraging data mining and investigative techniques to uncover fraudulent activities, analyzing complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, and strengthening the Trust & Safety framework. The role also contributes to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to support organizational objectives. Monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging stakeholders to meet ERM goals are key responsibilities.
Must have:
- Experience in Forensic/Trust & Safety/Data Analytics
- Prior experience in SQL
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks
Good to have:
- Bachelor/Post Graduate degree in IT/Comp Science or related degree
- Industry Experience: Social Media/Fintech/E-Commerce/Gaming/BSFI or related

Audit & Risk @Dream Sports:
Audit & Risk team enables the business to maintain high level of governance with visibility on risk insights to relevant shareholders. We provide independent assurance over the effective operation of an organization's risk management, governance, and internal control processes. We are responsible for detecting, assessing, monitoring, reporting, managing and mitigating the risks, building a robust process that can provide a suitable platform for all our users.
Your Role:
- Contribute to ensuring Trust & Safety of the Platform and D11 Users through data mining and investigative techniques to uncover trends, potential irregularities and fraudulent activities
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends indicative of fraudulent activities
- Continuously strengthen and improve the Trust & Safety framework
- Assist in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) efforts by identifying, assessing and mitigating risks to support organisational objectives
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to detect anomalies, test mitigation actions for effectiveness and report updates to the Risk Management Committee (RMC) and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently and engage stakeholders to meet ERM goals
Qualifiers:
- Bachelor/Post Graduate degree in IT/Comp Science or related degree
- Relevant experience in Forensic/Trust & Safety/Data Analytics
- Prior experience in SQL
- Industry Experience: Social Media/Fintech/E-Commerce/Gaming/BSFI or related
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and activities (e.g., risk identification, risk appetite, risk measurement)
