Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and implement advanced Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models, leveraging Analytical and Big Data tools to solve complex business challenges. This role will partner with research teams and vendors to analyze and define problem statements, as well as collaborate closely with development teams to design, implement, and manage the delivery of innovative solutions and products.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML models
- Have built supervised and unsupervised learning models
- Experience with deep learning techniques (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers)
- Hands-on experience with prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning OpenAI models as well as open-source large language models (LLMs)
- Natural language processing (sentiment analysis, embeddings, summarization, chatbots)
- Entity identification, extraction, and knowledge discovery from both structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, TensorFlow, Snowflake, Databricks, and other ML/LLM tools;
- Familiarity with database systems such as DB2, Sybase, and Oracle
- Experience working in CPU/GPU cloud environments;
- Strong communication skills;
- Foundational knowledge in Finance;
- PhD or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
