Job Description

This Senior Data Analyst position at Paytm Money focuses on collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Responsibilities include developing reports and dashboards using Tableau, Metabase, and Redash, writing advanced SQL queries, and implementing best practices for data analysis. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills and a proven track record of success in data analysis and team handling. Experience with Python for data processing is a plus.

Must have:

4+ years data analysis experience
2+ years Tableau experience
Advanced SQL proficiency
Team handling experience
Report & dashboard development
Data mining techniques

Good to have:

Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
Metabase & Redash experience

Role and Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and

translate business needs into technical solutions such as reports and dashboards.

 Collaborating across Growth, Marketing, Product teams across Paytm Money

 Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance

processes for the team's deliverables.

Key skills:

 Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.

 Proven experience (4+ years) in data analysis and a year of team handling experience.

 Proven experience working on Tableau (2+ years) and any other advanced BI tools to

develop reports and dashboards.

 Developing reports and dashboards in Metabase and Redash.

 Strong proficiency in writing Advanced SQLs, Expertise in performance tuning of SQLs

(3+ years).

 Be proficient in Excel.

 Analytical thinking and Solid understanding of data mining techniques.

 Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey

complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 Good to have – experience working on Python for data processing and pipeline building

using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
