Team, about the role

We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join the automation team that is responsible for developing UA and game project reporting tools, data showcases for analytics and ensuring their quality.

Through our development, the business is empowered to quickly make cost-effective decisions, communicate effectively with business partners, and continuously improve our game metrics.

The volume of data in our Data Lake is 5+ petabytes and we make sure there is not the slightest doubt about the completeness, relevance and reliability of the data we provide.

You will dive deep into business processes and propose solutions to optimize them, shape the roadmap of the development team.

Our Team: Delivery Manager, BA, SA, Tech Lead, 6 Data Engineers, 2 QAs

Tasks

  • Interacting directly with marketing and game development teams, identifying true need, conducting research, proposing solutions
  • Shaping the product development vision with stakeholders
  • Forming a roadmap for the development team
  • Detailing tasks for development and preparing a set of such artifacts: use cases, role models, functional and non-functional requirements, diagrams of processes, states, entities and relationships, etc.
  • Presentation of the finished functionality to the customer, collecting and analyzing the feedback received

Requirements

  • Experience as a systems or business analyst in a product team for 5+ years
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of basic system analysis artifacts.
  • Understanding of the concept of data warehouses (DWH, Data Lake) including layers, storefronts, aggregates and quality aspects
  • Experience writing SQL queries (window functions, CTEs)
  • Understanding of data visualization principles, building reporting (Tableau/PowerBI/Qlick)
  • Technical English level

Preferred

  • Experience working with gaming analytics and/or in the marketing domain
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Integration analytics experience, knowledge of client-server interaction basics, web services principles and understanding of API, REST, OpenAPI terms;
