As a Senior Business Management Specialist, you will partner with the leadership team to deliver business operations excellence. You will manage the fiscal cycle and resource allocation for both internal and external resources. You will leverage data insights and process integrity to ensure business health. You will drive monthly and quarterly business reviews ensuring we are meeting our commitments. This opportunity will allow you to collaborate with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams, providing a unique environment to showcase your business management skills.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles.
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles 
  • OR Masters Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 5+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related role. 
  • OR equivalent experience.

Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with leadership to develop and carry out business plans, while also helping to manage the team''s rhythm of business (ROB). You’ll also ensure continuous internal business operations in both normal and adverse conditions.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and teams to oversee the creation and implementation of strategy execution plans, while ensuring alignment across functions. You will also use your understanding of strategy to design upcoming budgets.
  • You will provide leadership support by ensuring team activities are aligned with their goals. This will involve building broad relationships that support activities across the business and communicating key leadership priorities.
  • You will monitor organizational health, respond to team culture issues, and promote cultural initiatives. This will involve planning and executing trainings, tracking polls, and ensuring a healthy compliance scorecard.
  • You will contribute to cross-team projects as needed to meet changing business requirements and manage business needs. You’ll also work on projects for larger areas, especially those requiring hands-on experience.
  • You will manage the teams financial rhthymn and resource allocation, paying close attention to detail and accuracy. In addition, to managing heacount requests and discretionary spend.
  • You will execute cross-organizational Business Reviews by driving end-to-end development and execution of CVP-level Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • You will operationalize rhythm of connection with stakeholder teams to bring data-driven, insightful content that enables conversations that move the business forward.
  • You will run CVP-level meetings (both remote and in person), bringing professionalism and executive presence to manage time and conversation efficiently.
