Job Description

TiMi Montreal seeks a Senior 3D Character Designer for their new AAA open-world RPG developed in Unreal Engine 5. Responsibilities include creating high-quality, stylized facial models, developing next-gen character models and assets, and ensuring seamless integration into the game engine. Collaboration with other teams is crucial for completing the entire character and skin pipeline. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in character modeling, expertise in creating realistic and stylized facial features, strong understanding of next-gen character clothing and engine materials, and proficiency in Unreal Engine.

Must have:

5+ years experience in character modeling
Expertise in creating realistic and stylized faces
Proficient in Unreal Engine
Next-gen character clothing and material experience

TiMi Montreal is a new AAA development team making an innovative open world role-playing game in Unreal Engine 5 that is part of the award-winning TiMi Studio Group and Tencent. The studio’s core team has a proven track record making hit open world games, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Watch Dogs. This is an ambitious team who aspires to be a flagship first-party studio for TiMi, reaching global audiences of passionate gamers who appreciate the studio’s optimistic and inclusive culture that rewards disruptive, risk-taking game development.

What the Role Entails

1.根据项目要求制作出高水准的美型脸部模型；

2.完成高品质次世代角色模型，资源整理，引擎合入验证，效果跟进；

3.配合其他模块完成角色以及皮肤的整套流程。

Who We Look For

1.擅长次时代美型脸部的制作，学习能力强，研究相关妆容，制作出不同风格的脸部；

2.有次时代角色服装类的制作经验，对引擎材质有更好的理解，能不断尝试去提升品质；

3.美术专业相关，5年以上角色相关制作经验；

4.审美能力优秀，能及时发现问题并改善；

5.能熟练使用UE引擎，完成并验收跟进表现效果；

6.热爱游戏行业，有较强的责任心，工作投入度高，配合团队完成任务。
