Job Description

Animoca Brands seeks a Security Operations Engineer in Hong Kong to oversee the security of their decentralized technologies and infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementing MDM and SSO solutions, developing and maintaining a comprehensive security framework for cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud), implementing threat detection and response systems, and collaborating with IT and development teams to embed security best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in cloud security, zero trust principles, and experience in Web3 security challenges.

Must have:

3+ years in Security Operations
Expertise in MDM, SSO deployment
Securing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for the security of our cutting-edge decentralized technologies and infrastructure. You will take ownership of our Security Operations function, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud security, zero trust principles, and the unique challenges posed by the Web3 landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Security Solutions Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to enhance device security and streamline identity and access management across the organization.

Security Framework and Cloud Infrastructure Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive security framework aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring secure operations for our cloud environments, including AWS and Google Cloud. This includes configuring security policies, enforcing compliance, and performing periodic assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Threat Detection and Incident Response: Implement robust monitoring systems and automation tools to detect and respond to security threats. Investigate incidents, coordinate remediation efforts, and continuously improve detection and response capabilities to minimize risks.

Collaboration and Awareness: Partner with IT, DevOps, and development teams to embed security best practices into their workflows while conducting training and awareness programs to foster a culture of security across the organization.

Experience

3+ years in Security Operations, Cloud Security, or related roles
Strong expertise in deploying MDM, SSO, and securing cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud
