We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a Pharmaceutical client located in Mettawa, IL. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule—requiring 3 days onsite each week.

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the inventory and logistics for various patient services programs. You will work closely with multiple teams—marketing, supply chain, and vendors—to ensure the seamless delivery of products that support patient care. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in inventory management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, and is ideal for individuals seeking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory for patient services programs, ensuring product availability for patients.
  • Track and forecast inventory levels for medical supplies, marketing materials, and other patient support items.
  • Anticipate and address supply chain issues to prevent inventory shortages.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement of materials, and oversee contracts and purchase orders.
  • Provide program management support for marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Research and recommend new products to enhance patient care, collaborating with marketing and strategy teams.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Manage relationships with the distribution center, handling inventory storage, packaging, mailing, returns, and disposal of expired products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management and vendor/stakeholder management.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading customer success teams or professional services operations.
  • Strong proficiency in inventory management principles.
  • Experience interpreting data to forecast inventory needs and patient flow.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, purchasing, and distribution.
  • Experience with Total Quality Management (TQM) is a plus.
  • Excel and/or Smartsheet proficiency is highly desirable.
