Job description

At Scorewarrior, our commitment goes beyond creating games; we strive to build positive, respectful, and fair environments for every player. Our Player Safety team is dedicated to ensuring that players’ experiences align with our values and the Terms of Service (ToS) we uphold. We’re looking for a Player Safety Operations Manager to lead the effort to safeguard this integrity and maintain trust between the game and its community.

As a Player Safety Operations Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of handling and refining legal processes that protect both the company and our players. By enforcing the Terms of Service, addressing legal requests, and enhancing operational efficiency, you’ll play a key role in maintaining balance and fairness within our game.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inherit and bring meaningful change to player legal request handling procedures, including GDPR, DSA, and Terms of Service violations, ensuring speed and accuracy in resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with moderation and legal teams to ensure swift and effective action is taken against violations, always striking the right balance between player and company interests.
  • Develop proactive strategies to detect and address Terms of Service threats before they escalate.
  • Create metrics to track and improve the efficiency of legal case handling and threat detection processes.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for games — any games, really, whether it’s an MMO, RPG title, MOBA, a strategy, or casual.
  • A degree in Law.
  • Proven experience in handling legal requests and building legal practices within the gaming industry.
  • Strong reasoning abilities, capable of making data-driven decisions while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Expertise in handling GDPR compliance and product-specific Terms of Service cases, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams, ensuring that moderation, legal, and product teams are aligned.
  • Ability to think strategically, focusing on developing proactive legal policies and procedures that safeguard both the player experience and the company’s interests.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL

It would help you to stand out if:

  • You’re an OKR-adept
  • You possess expert knowledge of SQL
  • You have a B2+ certified knowledge of more than one foreign language
  • You have a good sense of humor (meme proficiency keeps us all in good shape!)

What we offer:

  • The best team in the world!
  • An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
  • Full-coverage relocation for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
  • A modern and sunny office space close to the sea.
  • Private health insurance for you and your family members.
  • A monthly school allowance for your children at pre-school and school-age.
  • Lunch compensation.
  • Personal development opportunities paid for by the company: professional and language courses, books, etc.
  • Bonuses for outstanding results, years worked, getting married, and the birth of a child.
  • Friendly monthly office parties and epic, annual offsite company birthday and Christmas parties.

Are you ready to build a healthy gaming environment for our players? Then join us at Scorewarrior, where your leadership and vision will have a lasting impact on how our game is experienced by players across the world!

About The Company

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games.

In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre.

2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre.

In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
